you know, there was a period in my life where i shared your sentiment. instead, i was actually looking for a best friend/buddy, someone to spend time with, do fun stuff and could count on.
i don’t think i’ve ever found someone to fill said role.
but i’ve found multiple frens who separately, managed to spend time doing fun stuff or there to listen when i needed someone to talk to.
don’t be boxed in by how you things should be or how things are portrayed by others, everyone’s life is different. you just have to do make do with what you have and be happy.
